INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL CONFERENCE ON “SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP AND COOPERATION” CONTINUES SUCCESSFULLY

The Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Nature, Environment and Tourism, with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, are successfully organizing the fourth day of the International Virtual Conference on “Sustainable development education partnership and cooperation” within the framework of the “Education for Sustainable Development-II” project.

Participants are discussing the five priorities of “Education for Sustainable Development 2030” and the six areas of management. The purpose of the event is to review the experience of implementing education for sustainable development and joint initiatives between organizations at all levels, and to develop a cooperation plan.

Today's  virtual conference continued with a discussion on the environment and eco-consumption or “Voices of Youth-Environmental Reporters” for children and youth. The Minister of Education and Science L.Enkh-Amgalan participated in the  virtual conference and delivered a speech. He also presented the “Education Ambassador for Sustainable Development” award to D.Gantsetseg.

Teachers and educators from 21 provinces and all soums, representatives of environmental and professional inspection organizations, Germany, Australia, Indonesia, the European Union, Japan, China and the United States gave direct presentations and shared their experiences at the “Education for Sustainable Development” virtual conference and contributed to the establishment of cooperation mechanisms.
